    Notes:

    • Workshops and placements are compulsory components of the Tarcombe Fjords Stream.
    • Units of competency are subject to change.
    • Costs contained in the Schedule of Fees also apply to students seeking Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) where applicable.
    • Program costs contained in the Schedule of Fees will be reduced if a Credit Transfer (CT) applies.

    Ride Horses C is designed for experienced riders who already demonstrate a high level of competence and confidence in the saddle. This subject focuses on assessing, schooling, and improving the way of going of educated horses, rather than simply riding them through set tasks or environments. You must be able to accurately ride circles, lateral movements, transitions, simple changes, counter canter, halts, rein-back, and turns on the forehand or hindquarters. If you are not at this level of riding yet, you will need to select Equine Behaviour & Welfare instead.

      • administering VET, including program administration, regulation, monitoring and evaluation.

      Enrolment Terms & Conditions(Required)
      1. All students must comply with the Policies & Procedures as indicated in the HaloNT and VNS Student Handbook and website.

      2. Your course enrolment period is set when you initially enrol. If you require longer to complete the course, you will be required to pay an enrolment extension fee prior to expiring to extend your course and keep your access available. Failure to extend prior to expiry will lead to your enrolment being finalised. You will only receive a statement of attainment for any units of competency completed in full. To complete your course after expiry, you will need to reenrol in any incomplete units of competency.

      3. Refunds are not available to any student who has commenced the course, including having online access details provided. The initial deposit is only refundable if you withdraw from the course prior to the intake enrolment cut off on the 15th of the month prior. If you withdraw after the cut off of the 15th of the month prior but before you have commenced your course or received online access details, there will be no refund of the initial deposit. If a refund is granted due to extenuating personal circumstances, an administration fee of up to $1325 may be payable in addition to the fees for any started unit of competency.

      4. Certificates or Statement of Attainments will only be issued if your course fees have been paid in full.

      5. Failure to submit work for eight (8) weeks without communication with us, may lead to your withdrawal from the course by VNS. No refund will be due, your course fees will still be payable, and you will be required to reenrol to complete the course.

      INSTALMENT PAYMENTS

      Instalment Payment Terms & Conditions(Required)
      1. Instalment payments are only available via direct debit arrangements.

      2. By submitting this form with instalment payments selected, you commit to the nominated instalments and are liable for the full cost of the course, even if you/the student decides to not complete the course.

      3. If you fall in arrears with your instalments for 14 days or over, access to the course areas online will be restricted, and assessments will not be graded unless an alternative payment date or arrangement is authorised.

      4. If you miss a payment and the associated re-debit 3 days later, you must pay your instalment direct to us. A $30 administration and debit dishonour fee will be added to your invoice. We will email you an updated invoice. This invoice is immediately payable. Please note: your bank may also charge you dishonour fees. All future debits will remain in place as normal.

      5. If your account remains in arrears for 30 days or more, without an alternative payment date or arrangement authorised, you will be withdrawn from the course. Your remaining course fees will become immediately fully payable and invoiced to you. We reserve the right to take legal action to recover the monies without further notice to you and/or report your debt to a credit reporting agency and ask them to record the default on your credit report. In the event where your overdue account is referred to a collection agency and/or law firm, you will be liable for all costs which would be incurred as if the debt is collected in full, including commission on collection of the additional costs and also including legal demand costs.

      6. If for any reason a new direct debit agreement needs to be set up, a $90 fee will apply to cover administration costs. This fee must be paid prior to the new agreement being put in place.

      7. If you repeatedly default on your instalment plan schedule, more than three times where both the initial and re-debit have failed, which may not be consecutive, we may cancel your ability to have future payment plans and the balance of your course fees will be invoiced to you and become immediately payable.

      To secure your place in the next available intake, you will need to complete the direct debit arrangement section for your chosen instalment interval. A deposit is payable at the time of enrolment to confirm your place — $900 for the Online Stream or $1340 for the Tarcombe Fjords Stream.
